Building A Relation

Laurie posted a brief message about the troubling implications of pig riding which got me thinking. I searched for more information and found a brilliant web-site dedicated to fostering human-pig interaction.

Unfortunately, the human putting the website together didn't do a good job of linking the images to the pages. Fortunately, at least some of the images are freely available.

Ahhhhh, you know what's funny? People riding on pigs.

"Pig rides are very safe, and most pigs enjoy that. They are naturally domestic. So, unlike horses and new undergraduate students, they do not give you a hard time. They go very slowly and stably. Their speed is the same that you can be fully relaxed. They are always in a "cruise" mode."

The rider looks like a crazed, seventeenth century Dutch woman.

That rider is a crazed, seventeenth century Dutch woman!

Is there any evidence that seventeenth century Dutch lesbians rode pigs? I feel like this is a field of research that has been embarrassingly undeserved by historians.
