I thought it was absolutely hilarious. I still think it's hilarious. I tried to describe it to Nelly and I couldn't quite justify why I thought it was so funny. So I am curious how my vast and varied readership might react.
Since I am posting you-tube videos. I think this clip from 30 Rock is ridiculous.

I don't think it's all that funny. When Leroy ran into the evil cave/tomb/ancient palace(?) ahead of the plan, that was pretty funny. The rest, eh.

Tom, I think the first video is funnier to people who know this whole scene. I just found the leader very funny, what with his obvious exasperation at having to go into the place to fight the things at all, but also with his careful planning to "drop" "intimidating shout" and all that...it's like, another Saturday night playing Everquest.

Yes, that's what I was thinking. I mean, there's some great comic timing which is universal. But to really get the full effect I think you need to have some MMORPG experience. Intimidating shout! I think that if someone ran into the room shouting "Leeeeeeeeroy Jennnnkinnnnns!" I would be pretty intimidated.
Yeah, crabby maryland, it's hurting my brain to see world of warcraft machinima being used to sell trucks on prime-time television.
